Angelique Renaud Hula Hooping &
Zumba
|
Angelique Renaud is not Latin but Vietnamese-Italian-American.
Born in Vietnam, she grew up in Largo. She trained in Ballet and Jazz as a teen and went on to perform
in shows and television for Telemundo in Miami. Certified in Zumba Gold, Zumba Basic, and Zumba Advanced, she has a
strong passion for dancing and that's why she loves teaching Zumba! Angelique's classes are
composed of all kinds of music such at latin, old school, arabic, hawaiian, techno, hip hop, etc, putting alot of emphasis
on the torso, really working your hips and waist. She also teaches a slower paced lower impact class called Zumba Gold with
music by Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Bobby Darin, etc for those wanting to sway to the music but keep your hips in joint too!!!!
"Dancing keeps you young and healthy. I'm a mother of 5, my last child born in 2007, and I taught up until
my 8th month. I especially love when my students tell me that their cholestorol, high blood pressure, and blood sugar are
lower since taking Zumba. Your clothes fitting looser is just icing on the cake".

Nancy is originally of U.K descent so she has no Latin blood. I has
also lived in Zimbabwe, Vancouver B.C, and moved to Florida in 2001. She has 2 children ( 8 & 11) and I has taught for
Pinellas county schools for the last 8 years. She stumbled across Zumba 3 years ago when she was trying to find something
to jazz up her exercise routine and has had Zumba fever ever since! Nancy currently teaches
Zumba at various places in Clearwater and has taught to all ages and size. She says the one thing that
all her students tell her is that Zumba feels more like a party than an exercise class! Since 2004 she has lost
90 pounds and 40 of those she attributes to Zumba. She says, “I feel better about myself
now than I ever have in my life and my hope is that I can bring that feeling to my zumba students.” Nancy
holds certifications in Zumba basic, Zumba Toning, Pump and AFAA. Nancy occasionally
substitute teaches at yoga4all.
